CCTV footage is stored securely and retained for a limited period unless required for the investigation of an incident. Access to footage is restricted and will only be shared with law enforcement where legally necessary.

• Order‑related personal data is retained for three months after the final payment or delivery date (whichever is later).

• Information required for accounting and legal compliance is retained for seven years, with personally identifying details removed where appropriate.

10. Children & Young People Attending Classes

Rebecca Cook Creative Limited provides classes for young people aged 11 and above. When a child attends a class, the following additional privacy and safeguarding measures apply.

Parental Responsibility & Emergency Contacts

Parents or legal guardians must provide two emergency contact numbers if a child is left at a class without a parent present. These details are used solely for safety and emergency purposes and are not used for marketing or shared with third parties.

Parents are not expected to remain in the session unless previously agreed. Due to limited space, if a parent wishes to stay for the duration of the class, this may require booking and paying for an additional space.

Photography & Social Media

Photographs may be taken during classes to document the activity or celebrate student work.

• Images are only taken with parental consent.

• If images are shared on social media, children’s faces will be obscured or cropped out unless explicit written permission has been granted to show them.

• Parents have the right to request no photographs of their child at any time.

• No identifying information (names, schools, etc.) will ever be shared.

Data Collected for Children’s Classes

For safeguarding and operational purposes, we may collect:

• Child’s first name

• Parent/guardian name

• Emergency contact details

• Relevant allergy or medical information

• Consent preferences (e.g., photography)

This information is used only for the safe running of the class and is stored securely.

Retention of Children’s Data

Information relating to a child’s class booking is retained for three months after the session unless required for legal or safeguarding purposes. Emergency contact details are deleted once the class has taken place.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of the updated policy. Significant changes may be highlighted more prominently.
